The Durrës Municipal Council held its next meeting. At this meeting, where the councilors were also introduced to the report on the work of the municipal council for 2025, the decisions on the agenda were approved with the exception of two points. The draft decision “On the approval of the rent subsidy for beneficiary families, affected by the implementation of the project “restoration and urban requalification of the TID perspective area, located in the Durrës archaeological park” was postponed for discussion at the next meeting of the municipal council, while the election of the deputy chairman of this council was not approved. These are the decisions approved at this meeting:
For the approval of criteria for families in need, which will be treated with economic assistance up to 6% of the conditional fund for block economic assistance, as well as for those that will be treated with local budget funds.
For the approval of the scoring system for the selection of families seeking to benefit from social housing programs.
For the reallocation of funds received from the state budget reconstruction fund, undistributed in 2025, to be inherited in 2026.
For the approval of some amendments to the decision of the municipal council no. 50, dated 21.05.2024, “On the approval of the request for the transfer to the ownership of the municipality of Durrës, for the administrative unit Katundi i Ri, of the property no. 101/2, of the type of land, with an area of 1664m2, located in the cadastral zone 3541”.
For the approval in principle of the financial value of the expropriation of 473320.05 (four hundred seventy-three thousand three hundred twenty point zero five) lek, for private property, which is affected by the public investment with the object: "reconstruction of roads in the city", for the "Çel Islami" road.
For the approval in principle of the financial value of the expropriation of 867,776,164.65 (eight hundred and sixty-seven million seven hundred and seventy-six thousand one hundred and sixty-four point sixty-five) lekë, for private property, which is affected by the public investment with the object: "connection of Currila with the "A. Goga" road".
For the approval of the list of names of families that meet the legal criteria for benefiting from the housing bonus that will be granted by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation in favor of the Municipality of Durrës for rent subsidy for the year 2026.
For the approval of an accelerated procedure for the treatment of women/victims of domestic violence provided with a protection order, with immediate shelter.
For the approval of the amendment to VKB No. 66, dated 11.11.2025 "on the approval of the application guidelines "for the implementation of the scheme: grants for young people in support of the development of local economic initiatives".
For the use of the fund obtained from the performance-based grant for municipalities for the year 2025.
