Public Hearing

On April 26, 2024, the Durrës Municipal Council, in collaboration with the administration of the Municipality of Durrës, held a public hearing on Preschool Education Service Improvement Plan 2024-2026. The hearing was attended by representatives of the administration of the Municipality of Durrës, Municipal Councilors, the Education Committee, heads of preschool education institutions, educators, the psycho-social service for children in the municipality’s kindergartens, parents, civil society, and others.

The aim of the plan is to improve the quality of preschool education in the Municipality of Durrës, including the enhancement of kindergarten infrastructure, the development of human resources, and the creation of an effective database for managing preschool education structures. The plan seeks to harmonize activities within a shared and coherent vision, including collaboration with parents and the community.

This necessary dialogue preceded the activities to be implemented over the next three years, their budgeting, as well as the suggestions received from participants in this hearing.

Through the activities budgeted in this plan, the aim is to ensure a safe, suitable, and high-quality environment for all children, both girls and boys, effectively meeting their educational and developmental needs.
