The Durrës Municipal Council has its next meeting. In this meeting, which was attended by the Mayor of Durrës Emiriana Sako, all the decisions on the agenda were approved, one of the best points being the important one for the 202 budget and the approval of the 202-2028 medium-term budget. During the presentation of the budget, the Mayor of Durrës, Emiriana Sako, stated that with the 2026 budget, other works and investments of Durrës will be realized in the service of the city and all others. Mayor Sako emphasized that in the 2026 budget, which is 6% higher than the 2025 budget, investments are foreseen in education, social, transport, services, reconstruction, public services and other fields. For the approval of the calendar for the preparation of the medium-term budget program (MTP) for the years 2027-2029 and the annual budget.

For the approval of the budget of the municipality of Durrës for 2026 and the medium-term budget program 2026-2028.

For the approval of financial assistance with a total value of 50,572,489 (fifty million, five hundred and seventy-two thousand, four hundred and eighty-nine lekë), for the full liquidation of some families and for the liquidation in installments of the rest, damaged by floods caused by intense rainfall on 29.01.2025 - 30.01.2025.

For the approval of some amendments to the decision of the municipal council no. 05, dated 10.03.2025, "On the approval in principle of the financial value of the expropriation of 400 703.84 (four hundred thousand seven hundred three, point eighty-four) lek, for private property, according to the table drafted by the working group, charged with carrying out the preliminary assessment, and is part of this decision, which are affected by the public investment with the object: "road reconstruction in the administrative unit of Ishëm".

For the approval of families benefiting from economic assistance from the conditional fund for block economic assistance up to 6% and the revenue fund of the Durrës municipality, for the month of December 2025.
