The councilor's mandate ends before the 4-year term in cases provided for by Article 49 of Law No. 139, dated 17.12.2015 \u201cOn Local Self-Government\u201d.\u00a0<\/p><p>After the verification of mandates by the relevant commission, the Councilors take the following oath before the Council:\u00a0<\/p><p><em>\u201cI swear on my honor that I will conscientiously perform the duties of a member of the Municipal Council and will abide by the Constitution and the laws. I swear that in all my activities I will be guided by the interests of the citizens of the Municipality of Durr\u00ebs and will work with honesty and dedication for their development and the improvement of their well-being.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p>A councilor who is absent for a valid reason at the oath-taking shall take the oath at the first meeting they attend.
