The Center was established in 2016, through a collaboration between the Municipality of Durr\u00ebs and the organizations Save the Children and \"Help Life\", which continue to support the Center's activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The center provides community-based services for children with disabilities aged 2-21, with the aim of achieving their full inclusion in kindergartens, schools and the community, working not only with the children but supporting the entire family.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Sh\u00ebrbimet q\u00eb Qendra ofron jan\u00eb:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n I. Sh\u00ebrbime direkte p\u00ebr f\u00ebmij\u00ebt me aft\u00ebsi t\u00eb kufizuara.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Children are worked with in the areas of behavior, communication, autonomy, education, academic and motor skills. Individual intervention plans are developed and reviewed by a multidisciplinary team consisting of a psychologist, speech therapist, physiotherapist, social worker, developmental therapist and occupational therapist.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n II. Aft\u00ebsimin e familjeve t\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00ebve me aft\u00ebsi t\u00eb kufizuara, p\u00ebr t\u00eb punuar me f\u00ebmijen dhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb advokuar p\u00ebr gjith\u00ebp\u00ebrfshirjen e f\u00ebmijeve t\u00eb tyre n\u00eb arsim dhe komunitet.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n The center is the only one in Durr\u00ebs that offers this public service model, where the entire family is a beneficiary of services. Parents are informed about children's problems, how to help them develop at home, legislation, rights, etc. They are also provided with work programs with the child that they can implement at home.<\/span><\/p>\n Self-help groups have also been created with sisters and brothers of children with disabilities, who meet every month with the center's psychologist and share emotions, feelings and common experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n III.
